Mass of Perception (2012)

Inspired by the organic beauty of Korean ceramics during my artist residency in South Korea, I set out to create ten life-size busts in authentic Korean White Porcelain. It actually turned out to be a truly challenging project due to the technical difficulties of firing the asymmetrical form, resulting  in making one hundred thirty busts over three years to attain ten successfully fired busts. The broken shards from the process evolved into an installation.
